JULIA + DAN
Julia and Dan's story is one of second chances. They matched on Hinge in 2021, but the conversation fizzled out. They found each other again on Bumble a year later, and this time it stuck. Their path to "I do" took another unexpected turn in October 2024, when a serious car accident derailed Dan's first three proposal plans. But Plan D turned out to be perfect! After everything they'd been through, their wedding day felt like pure joy. Every hug, happy tear, and toast carried the weight of how grateful they were to be standing there together, surrounded by the people they love most.
It's no surprise their celebration was all about fun. The live band kept the dance floor packed from the first song to the last, and nobody wanted to sit down. We brought in Culver’s burgers, cheese curds and custard for a little late night fuel as a nod to Dan’s Wisconsin roots and a sweet tribute to the couple’s favorite guilty pleasure, frozen custard. Julia and Dan, thank you for letting us be part of a day that was so worth the wait.
