TESS & DILLON

When I first spoke to Tess and her mom, and they told me they wanted a multi day wedding weekend with completely different vibes for each event, I was instantly on board! Tess & Dillon are such a fun, loving and joyful couple, and it all showed through their events throughout the weekend.

They chose The Retreat at Balcones Springs as their backdrop, with all guests being able to stay onsite and enjoy all of the activities that the property has to offer. The weekend started on Thursday with a rehearsal dinner for their close family and wedding party that was full of great conversation and a delicious family style meal. Friday morning included skeet shooting for the gentlemen and a tennis tournament for the ladies! Everyone hung around the pool and welcomed the remainder of guests as they arrived, before getting ready for a magical, all black, black tie evening with a delicious plated meal and toasts that had everyone both laughing, crying and getting out of their seats!

Saturday started bright and early with a bright and colorful morning ceremony and beautiful brunch reception with brunch classics of a mimosa bar, bloody mary bar, eggs benedict and a bagel bar. The couple shared their first dance, the father of the bride shared the most touching speech and the brides uncle came out with a surprise song sung to the couple that was also sung at her parents wedding! The guests then headed over to the lake and the pool to enjoy the weather, the water activities, and to watch the TX vs. OU game by the water! From the zip line to the blob, there was a plethora of activities for guests to partake in!

The evening wrapped up with another fun evening with a variety of Italian food stations for guests to enjoy under a beautiful canopy of wide oak trees. The dance party really picked up as the sun went down, and boy did this group know how to party!

It was the most magical weekend celebrating Tess & Dillon with the most fun group of guests and the sweetest family. Cheers to a lifetime of happiness, T & D!
